WE ARE BACK
Somehow, some creep hacked my blog and created havoc with my attempts to publish. I have nothing but contempt for beings who inflict such maliciousness into another’s writing efforts. There is absolutely no acceptable rationale for doing such hacking, especially to those of us who have no other recourse than to pay to have our computers cleansed.
That being said, I can, for the moment, start publishing again, so look out professional writers and speakers; I am back in the saddle and am looking forward to roping any and all strays.
MONDAY PUN DAY
Here is more silly word play.
“Did you hear about the cross eyed teacher who
lost her job because she couldn’t control her pupils ?”
“Did you hear about the Buddhist who refused Novocain during a root canal?
His reason: transcend dental medication.”
WHAT IS INCORRECT?
Read the following, identify and correct the errors in each.
“Corio said these are the type of inspirational presentations she wants to bring to schools across Canada.
Rebecca Wright, “Miss Teen Canada finalist has message of hope to spread”, The Windsor Star, Monday, February 17, 2014
“We keep adding to this, it doesn’t stop,” he said. “We’re in the midst of expanding — always.”
Joel Boyce, “All aboard! Model trains a hit”, The Windsor Star, February 17, 2014.
The word for today is “inviolable”.
What part of speech is “inviolable”?
Define “inviolable” and use it in a sentence of your own creation.
